Contributing to a healthier life through food is the philosophy of this "therapist".

Joana Teixeira has always worked for multinationals, until the day she had a skin problem and the only thing that worked, after several consultations with dermatologists and expensive creams, was Chinese medicine. “Then came the idea of creating a clinic with unconventional therapies, workshops and a small cafeteria in Lisbon”, she says. The Therapist opened in 2017, at Lx Factory, at the time “with a tiny kitchen” that had to grow to meet the growing demand for healthy dishes.
Today, functional nutrition is the main focus of the business, and it is divided into consultations, in the restaurant menu – based on organic meals, with local producers and without dairy or refined sugars – and on products that can be received at home. Among them are granola, sweet and savory, with different mixtures that aim to respond to the “four great goals” defined by this healthy eating therapist: Imunity (with turmeric or orange, for example), Power, Reset and Mind. All are of biological origin and gluten free, and sold in a reusable glass bottle.
