They may look like futuristic ships but they are, in fact, houses erected in the midst of the trees, with panoramic windows facing nature but also on top of the bed, to gaze the stars.
They were designed by architect Luís Rebelo de Andrade, and there is nothing missing inside: bathroom, kitchenette, bedroom, sofa and even “state-of-the-art technology”.
The ecological houses are integrated within the natural park of Pedras Salgadas, a thermal village that was once a holiday destination for royalty due to the power of the waters that spring in the property.
A mandatory visiting area is the old thermal spa, converted into a spa by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira that features several treatments, in addition to an indoor pool with a water circuit.
