The gate opens very slowly, almost in slow motion, in a dramatic gesture that somehow announces the arrival to another place. Inside awaits a luxurious world where even the plans – merit of the landscape architect – are in the right place.
At Sublime, every detail counts and is thought to live nature in comfort, from the bikes of the dutch brand Johnny Loco to the organic garden from which the vegetables are taken to the restaurants, as well as the relaxing herbs to the spa.
At first it was just a country house built by the owners (the pilot Gonçalo Pessoa and his wife Patrícia Trigo), until they built the villas inspired by the fishermen’s huts of Comporta with private pool suitable for families of all sizes. In 2019 came also the so-called Bio-Pool Suites, a tribute to the neighboring Palaphytic Pier of Carrasqueira, in which nine rooms were built on a huge biological pool – cleaned by the aquatic plants themselves and without the use of chemicals – with the right to a terrace on the water from which it is possible to dive.
