It is no exaggeration to say that in Martinhal Sagres everything is designed for those who travel with kids. In the resort there are more than 150 houses equipped with kitchen and inside each of them what can be called a trousseau for the little ones, with crockery and child hangers, boxes for storing toys, a bench to reach the washbasin (and there are no excuses not to wash teeth), protection for the stairs and even a television that automatically goes to the cartoon channels. But this still says little of the kids friendly philosophy. Because outside the room there are not one but five Kids Club divided by ages (from 6-month-old babies to 17-year-olds), five swimming pools – two of them heated – inflatables and trampolines next to the mini market (where diapers, milk powder, porridge and children’s books occupy wide shelves), bicycles for rent and other beach activities in the nautical center, children’s laundry, family spa treatments, three children’s area restaurants that include a baby menu from 6 months old – goodbye saga of traveling with the first soups – and even a kids bar with a bread van where kids can sit and order a strawberry sparkling lemonade at the counter (one of many non-alcoholic cocktails).
It could be disneyland hospitality, but it is rather a luxury resort, with a privileged location on martinhal beach, next to the cape of Sagres, and several pieces of art and furniture with design.
